LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Vicki Johnson and William Ledford were arrested in Laurel County on Sunday after being found driving two children around while intoxicated.
Officials at the Laurel County Sheriff's department arrested the two after they responded around 5 a.m. Sunday to a complaint of a disturbance, involving a man, a woman, and a property owner.
The deputies arrested Johnson and Ledford on Camp Ground Road, 10 miles south of London, after stopping their car because it fit the description of the car involved in the disturbance.
Deputies found that Ledford was intoxicated, and arrested him for a DUI, not wearing his seat belt, endangering the welfare of a minor, and not using a car seat.
Two children were also in the car along with Ledford and Johnson--a six year old and an infant.
Johnson was arrested for public intoxication.
Both Johnson and Ledford are lodged in the Laurel County detention center.
