Two arrested after high-speed chase in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Two men are arrested in Clay County after leading police on a 130 mile an hour chase.

Around 4pm Tuesday, Kentucky State Police say they tried to stop two motorcycles on Ky. 638 for speeding.

Police say the two drivers refused to stop, and led police on a chase for five miles, going 130 mph in a 55 mph zone.

William Mitchell, 22, and Josh Jarvis, 22, were both arrested for speeding, fleeing or evading police, and improper passing.
