LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people were arrested early Wednesday morning, accused of stealing copper.
Lexington police say an alarm at Baker Iron and Metal, a scrap yard off East Seventh Street, alerted them to suspicious activity.
When they arrived, they say two men were seen walking out of the scrap yard with copper wiring in hand.
Police arrested William Gonzalez-Francisco, 29, and Christopher Bayne, 26. Both men were charged with burglary.
