LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are looking for a group of women who they say attacked two people outside of a Lexington restaurant.

It happened around 3:00 Friday morning outside of the IHOP Restaurant off Palumbo Drive.

The victims tell police four women got out of a car and assaulted and robbed them. One of the girls says her purse was stolen which had the keys to her vehicle in it along with credit cards and cash.

One woman says she was thrown to the ground while her sister suffered a bloody nose in the attack.

"One girl tried to help when two of her friends were on top of me with a knee in my chest and holding my arms down throwing me over a curb trying to defend my little sister. I'm not gonna let anybody come between me and my little sister," said Christen Blackburn, one of the victims in the attack.

Both victims had minor injuries.

Police do not have a good description of the attackers and are still searching for suspects in this case.
