Saul Perez
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police have made two arrests in the city's latest murder.
WKYT has obtained court documents that show on Tuesday night, police arrested Juan Chavarria, 21, and Joseph Sales, 22.
Police say in July, the two forced their way into an apartment on Dinsmore Drive where they robbed, shot and killed Saul Perez. It's unclear if police are looking for more suspects in the deadly home invasion.
Chavarria and Sales are both charged with robbery and murder. They're scheduled to be arraigned in court Thursday afternoon.
Today, Lexington police are searching for a third murder suspect.
Police have an arrest warrant out for Kirby Ruano, 20. Ruano is also facing a murder and first degree robbery charge.
"At this point, I don't believe there's any reason for the public to be alarmed. But if you do see this individual, if you know where he is, please give us a call, because we do want to bring him in," said Lexington Division of Police Spokesperson, Sherelle Roberts.
Another suspect was arrested by Indiana authorities on a warrant related to the July 16 incident. Brittany Shipman, 22 is facing a first degree robbery charge.
Anyone with information on where Ruano could be is asked to call Lexington Police. (859) 258-3600
