CYNTHIANA, Ky. (WKYT) - For the second day in a row, crews are investigating a string of suspicious barn fires.

Officials in Harrison County were busy battling three barn fires early Wednesday morning.

This is just the latest in a string of suspicious fires in the area.

Since the weekend, officials say at least seven barns have been destroyed by fires in Harrison and Nicholas Counties.

One of the barns destroyed Wednesday morning was full of tobacco.

The owner told WKYT the fire damaged about $20,000 in tobacco, and said it will cost at least $30,000 to replace the barn.

WKYT is told the State Police arson investigator is looking into the fires.
