LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Another election is over, and two events are scheduled in Louisville in coming days to revisit how it played out.
On Sunday, state Sen. Gerald Neal of Louisville, Louisville NAACP chapter president Raoul Cunningham and University of Louisville Pan-African studies professor Ricky Jones will appear at a free U of L-Yearlings Club event to analyze what candidates and campaigns did well or wrong. The event is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST at 4309 W. Broadway.
On Nov. 15, Kentucky Commission on Human Rights Executive Director John Johnson, Cunningham and U of L political science professor Sherri Wallace will discuss the role racial attitudes played in the election at a U of L NETWORK (New Energy To Work Out Racial Kinks) luncheon.
