Two injured in early morning crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people were injured in an early morning crash.

It happed around 12:30 Tuesday morning on Leestown Road, near the V.A. Hospital.

Police say when they arrived, one man had made it out of the car, but firefighters had to use the jaws of life to free another man.

Both were taken to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say wet roads likely played a role in the crash.
