UPDATE:
Police tell WKYT that one of the men that escaped the Whitley County Detention Center on Sunday has been caught.
Ronald Sisk was found around 5 p.m. at his girlfriend's home in Williamsburg.
We're told Jessie Terry is still on the run.
ORIGINAL STORY:
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WKYT)- Police are telling 27 Newsfirst that two inmates have escaped from the Whitley County Detention Center early this morning.
According to officials, Jessie Terry, 37, and Ronald Tracey Sisk, 44, were both working in the kitchen at around 5:15 this morning, attended by a guard.
When the guard stepped away for a moment, the two men made their way out of the building by forcing open a secure door.
Neither Terry nor Sisk were being held for violent crimes.
The jailer and other deputies are out searching for the men in Whitley County and ask that you contact Whitley County Police at (606)-549-6017 with any information on their whereabouts.
