Two men wanted for violent Marion Co. home invasion

MARION COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The search is on for two men, who posed as police, during a violent home invasion.

It happened around two a.m. Tuesday in the Loretto community of Marion County.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office tells us the two men knocked on a woman's door, saying they needed help.

We're told both were wearing what appeared to be police hats.

Investigators say the men forced their way in the woman's home, shoved her down, pistol whipped her and robbed her.

It's believed the men got away in an older model, white car.
