LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people were stabbed overnight in separate attacks in Lexington.
The first happened around 10:30 Wednesday night.
Lexington police say the victim went into the Speedway on North Broadway and Seventh Street asking for help, then took off.
Police found him nearby, on Bryan and Loudon Avenues.
He was treated for a minor stab wound to his shoulder.
The victim told police he knew who was responsible, but police say he refused to cooperate.
About three hours later, and just a couple of streets over, police found another man who had also been stabbed.
The victim told police he was approached by a man on York Street and the two began arguing when he was stabbed in the stomach.
Police say he was taken to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police do not have a good description of the person responsible.
No arrests have been made in either stabbing. Police do not believe the two events were related.
