Two year old rescued from Lexington house fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- A two year old is recovering tonight after firefighters say the child suffered from smoke inhalation in a fire.

The fire happened on Freeman Avenue in Lexington just after noon Saturday.

Firefighters say it started in the back porch of the home.

They are still working determine what started it.

Neighbors say a man broke out a window to rescue the child.

Firefighters say that some family pets did not make it out of the fire.
