Two charged with Pike County bank robbery

(Floyd County,Ky)-On Thursday May 17, 2012 KSP Detective Kevin Newsome executed arrest warrants on 20 year old Toni Bishop and 25 year old Jessie J. Keathley both of Harold, Ky. Bishop and Keathley were lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center. Both were charged with 1 count of Armed Robbery 1st Degree for the May 14th robbery of U.S. Bank at Virgie,Ky.

On Monday May 14, 2012 at 12:34 p.m. Post 9 Pikeville received a call from U.S. Bank on Ky 610 at Virgie stating that the bank had been robbed. KSP units responded to the scene and preliminary information obtained at the scene indicated that a male and female entered the business, the male brandished a firearm and the two left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
