Posted: Thu 6:45 PM, Jun 07, 2012

Deputies have made more arrests in the illegal gambling bust at an old funeral home in Laurel County. The Laurel County Sheriff's department has now charged 29-year-old Christopher Asher for supplying gambling machines. Police also charged 44-year-old David Barnes for managing, hiring employees, and renting the building used for gambling.

Laurel County Deputies say they found 19 gambling machines, coin and bill counters and nearly $10,000. The sheriff says it was one of the biggest gambling busts he'd seen in the area. Police continue to investigate.
