A band of heavy rain continues to sink southward into the region. We will have to keep a close eye on this later this evening into tonight. The rest of the forecast remains unchanged with a major winter storm moving in late Wednesday and Thursday.
The work week is off and running. Temperatures climbed to some very warm levels all across the area. The warmth will stick around for a few days, but it will soon be joined by rain!
As Tuesday gets closer we start tracking a few showers in our area. Only a few... but still just enough to become a nuisance. The entire day won't be a washout. You will still find time to enjoy the warm temperatures.
The rest of the week has the makings of a washout though! Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be possible. We'll have to watch for the potential of some heavy rain associated with these systems too. Maybe even some stronger storms get thrown into the mix.
I used the words "systems" in my previous statement. That simply means a few good rain makers will keep the wet weather going. So it all doesn't come at one time.
Beyond the wet stuff this week, we'll see another cool shot of air arrive here for the weekend!
