LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky Wildcats, a 14 point underdog, will go into Columbia, Missouri for only the second time in school history Saturday. Kentucky has lost 6 in a row and stands 1-7 overall. Missouri, coming off an open date is 3-4. Neither team has won an SEC game.

The Wildcats will go into the game with freshman Jalen Whitlow again starting at quarterback. Freshman Patrick Towles is expected to return from a high ankle sprain and come off the bench.

Missouri has its own problem at quarterback with James Franklin considered doubtful with a strained MCL. Corbin Berkstresser is expected to start.

On the UK injury front, Phillips said defensive backs Martavius Neloms, Mikie Benton and Cartier Rice will all make the trip to Missouri. Neloms has seen the most limited time in practice, according to Phillips, while he has also had to deal with being “under the weather.” Phillips said Benton would play and that Rice will be looked at again Friday. Offensive lineman Zach West practiced Thursday and will continue to be evaluated.
