UK coach to make country music debut

UK Head Football Coach Joker Phillips will be the feature guest speaker at The Rotary Club of Lexington Thursday, July 12.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - UK Football Coach Joker Phillips is getting ready to make his country music debut.

Country singer and UK graduate J.D. Shelburn recruited Phillips to play bass in his upcoming music video for the song "Farmboy".

Shelburn says he became friends with Phillips at a derby party and told him he was a big Cats fan.

The video should premiere in the next couple of weeks.
