LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - "First one we got was from the president telling us no matter what, there was going to be class. Kind of sends a message that this is an academic institution, and not a sports institution. Then we got two others, so they were really trying to hammer in that notion that, you're not getting out of classes. Sorry dude, it's not happening," said UK Junior JP Sparr, as he made his way to a 9 a.m. physics class.
But the emails weren't enough to get some back in the classroom after a long, long night.
"There haven't been many people out at all. I already skipped two, maybe I'll go to my third one," laughed UK student Damien Lawhorn.
