Uncle Sam may want women now, too

WASHINGTON (AP) - The next time Uncle Sam comes calling, he's probably going to want women too.

Right now only men 18 to 25 have to register with Selective Service.

But legal experts and military historians say the Obama administration's recent decision to lift the ban on women in combat has opened the door for a change in the law.

Never before has the country drafted women into military service.
