SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Arraignment is scheduled Oct. 14 for a man accused of kidnapping and murdering his 17-year-old niece, whose body was found in central Kentucky 2 ½ weeks after she disappeared from her driveway in 1999.
The Courier-Journal reports 55-year-old Stanley Dishon is to be arraigned in Bullitt County Circuit Court.
He was indicted Wednesday in the death of 17-year-old Jessica Dishon. A Bullitt County Circuit Court clerk said Dishon does not yet have a lawyer in the case.
Charges against a neighbor ended in a mistrial in 2003, and the case remained unsolved.
Dishon has pleaded not guilty to unrelated sexual assault charges and is being held on $250,000 bond.
