There just wasn't enough moisture available to even fire off any shower activity on Sunday. This will be the case for a few days this week. We'll have the set-up, but a limited amount of moisture will keep things mainly dry.
It still looks like a few showers could creep through the area early on Monday morning. The chances will be very small! Most folks will stay on the dry side.
With a stalled frontal boundary just to our north and some southerly winds picking up later in the week, most will find very warm temps this week. How about a few days at 80 or above? That is a real possibility for at least three days this week. It could even turn into four if we get just enough sunshine in the area on Monday.
The set-up for widespread showers and storms arrives for later this week. It looks like rain will approach the area for Friday. This comes with a pretty potent cold front. It has some much cooler are located just behind it and we'll see that by next weekend. It has some severe weather potential, but we are still pretty far out to make a major call. It is certainly on all of our minds as the system grows closer.
