Severe thunderstorms have developed across parts of Central Kentucky. Expect more of these to develop through the evening hours.
He died in 1951 in a North Korean prison camp. Now after decades of DNA testing of his remains, Army Corporal Paul Gordon gets a proper military burial.
"I'm Paul's niece this service is full of emotion cause its been a long time coming."
On Tuesday he returned to Kentucky in a very reverent and sacred manner.
"I think his greatest heroism is getting up every day doing what needed to be done, in a couple of hours we will lay him to rest in the good Kentucky earth he's finally at peace."
Gordon was buried Friday afternoon.
In the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, located in Grant County.
