Video leads Lexington Police to business break-in suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man has been charged in connection to a business break-in.

Lexington police have arrested Richard Parrent, 55 and charged him with burglary.

Police say surveillance video from Doodle's Restaurant on North Limestone shows Parrent using a rock to break through the store's patio door. Once inside, the man is scene beating the cash drawer with the rock, then drinking a few beers before taking off with some 12-packs.

Police say the video helped them identify Parrent as a suspect.
