The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A family is left with many questions after the death of a Lexington toddler.
Family members say the two year old fell from some bleachers at a park and died days later.
The Fayette County Coroner's office is now investigating Christiano Waide's death.
It was an emotional evening at Douglass Park Friday as a community gathered to mourn the death of the two-year-old boy.
2-year-old Christiano Waide, commonly referred to as "C.Z." died Wednesday, several days after family members tell us he fell off the bleachers.
Now, his family members are doing what it takes to make sure another family won't have to suffer through a similar tragedy.
"The petition is asking for safety features to be added to the bleachers so that no one else can ever go through this again," said Kierra Berry, the victim's cousin.
In the difficult days that lay ahead, this community will find solace and strength by leaning on one another.
Family members say the petition aimed at improving bleacher safety has already received more than 400 signatures.
