A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Officials say wet roads may have played a role in a violent crash on the interstate Thursday night.
It happened just before midnight on I-75 near the Athens-Boonesboro exit.
Lexington Police say the driver narrowly avoided crashing into a semi, but then lost control of her vehicle and went off the road.
The fire department had to use the jaws of life to cut her from the vehicle.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
