Snow line is beginning to crash into parts of central Kentucky. The rate of snow will pick-up this evening and into the overnight. Some of these snow bands could produce 1"-2" per hour at times.
If you remember back toward last week where we had muggy conditions, warm air and thunderstorm chances everyday that is exactly what we will see this week. Starting today with a small chance of rain with highs in the 80s. A bit better on the rain chance tomorrow, but we really not only increase the chances, but the intensity as well.
Wednesday into Thursday we will be watching a system closely for possible strong to severe storms. If this system pans out, which I think it will, we will see a possible damaging wind event. Once this passes through on Thursday morning we will feel much less humidity back behind it.
The weekend could be good for us again with the timing of these storms. Lets cross our fingers that is the case.
