Warm air surges northbound!

Talk about feeling like summer! Highs today will be the story as we push toward 90°! The majority of us will stay just below that in the mid to upper 80s, but either way it will be a warm afternoon. There is only a very slight chance of rain today and that should mainly be confined to the eastern zones. The majority of us will stay dry. We stick with the warm temperatures tomorrow, but increase those rain chances to spotty thunderstorms during the afternoon.

A cool front is poised to move through during the day on Wednesday which will give us widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms will be strong to severe with damaging winds and hail being the main threats. Cooler air swings in after the front rolls through, so we finish off the work week nice and dry.

Memorial Day weekend doesn't look all that bad with a beautiful Saturday in store as highs will settle in the lower to mid 70s. Sunday and into Monday will feature slightly warmer temperatures with slight chances of rain in the forecast.
