Warm temperatures and rainy conditions on the way

Posted: Wed 5:04 AM, Jan 09, 2013

Here we are in a pattern that will produce well above average temperatures and rainfall to go along with this mild weather. The next several days will show temperatures 15-30 degrees above average...wow! Today we will see a couple isolated showers in which I think most stay dry rather than wet with highs in the lower to mid 50s. Thursday through the weekend we will see temperatures soar northbound with the warmest day on Saturday at 65-70 degrees! The day that appears to be with the most rain should be on Friday. Nevertheless, the next several days could amount to some very high rainfall totals and that could lead to some flooding issues. That will be our main concern the next several days.
