Warm temperatures arrive for the weekend

An early week cold front brought a cool week to the Bluegrass. Now as the weekend begins much warmer temperatures are headed this way. Overnight lows will dip the to the low to mid 30s. A few areas may still have some patchy frost. Southerly winds kick in on Friday and help warm our temperatures into the upper 50s. Winds will gust to 20 mph. We have only a slight chance of rain on Sunday as highs reach the mid 60s.

The warming trend continues into next week with more sunshine. By Tuesday clouds will increase as a cold front moves in. Rain will be likely Tuesday into Wednesday with a bit of a cool down to follow. The front will bring us back to normal temperatures through the end of the week.
