Rounds of showers and thunderstorms could cause issues across the region Saturday. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes will be possible.
We have settled in to a typical summertime pattern where our temperatures are in the mid to upper 80s and only slight chances of rain the next couple days.
We have a front to the north of us and where this front parks for the longest period of time is still something I am watching. That could mean the difference between widespread rounds of showers and storms or seeing some scattered storms. Either way we will see showers and storms from this system.
There is a lot of consensus between the models that a more intense wave will ride along this front at the end of the week. Timing and exact position are two factors we are concerned about. As of right now Friday looks to be the best rain chance with Saturday coming in as the next best chance.
