Warmer temperatures on the horizon

Posted: Mon 5:32 PM, Jan 07, 2013

After a seasonal start to the work week and plenty of sunshine, a warming trend will begin over the next several days. Overnight expect lows in the upper 20s with clear skies. Tuesday and Wednesday we will see partly cloudy skies, but the temperatures will be perfect with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

Starting on Thursday we will see multiple days in a row where chances of rain will be in the forecast as a warm front lifts across the region. Best chance to see a few storms will be on Thursday. The weekend continues to look damp, but for those who do not see rain you will be left with temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. High temperatures will be more like what we usually see in March. Rainfall totals could reach 1-3" over the weekend.
