The warming trend will continue as we move forward into the weekend. Most of us will see mainly cloudy skies through your Saturday. With a few showers possible, especially in northern parts of Kentucky. Most of us stay dry!
Isolated showers and storms will be possible as the weekend comes to a close. A frontal boundary will trigger some of those showers. There's just not a tremendous amount of moisture available for those showers.
The temperatures will continue to warm to very nice levels. The weekend will feature temperatures around 70 degrees. Many areas could be stuck under quite a bit of cloud cover so that will combat with our sunshine. That means those areas will see temps hover in the upper 60s.
The warming trend will step it up quite a bit as we head into next week. During that time we'll see highs climb into the low and mid 80s. The normal high for this time of year is usually in the low 70s. So we'll really change that up next week.
