Warming centers set up across Kentucky

Several warming centers have been set up across Kentucky for those who find themselves in need during the incoming winter storms.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Several warming centers have been set up across Kentucky for those who find themselves in need during the incoming winter storms.

The list below will continue to be updated as more information comes in on warming centers in each county.

WARMING CENTERS:

Scott County:
John L Hill Chapel will be open tonight to provide emergency warmth should residents have a need tonight due to loss of heat or power.
Hill chapel is on the campus of Georgetown college at 400 east college street. The college is working with the Scott county division of emergency preparedness. Those wishing to use the facility should first check-in with the college security office in Cralle Student Center adjacent to the Chapel.

Morgan County:
Morgan Central Elementary School will serve as a warming center/shelter for the community.
