Warren County sheriff's deputy involved in shooting

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WKYT) - A sheriff's deputy was involved in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of a Bowling Green consignment boutique.

Kentucky State Police say Warren County Deputy Thomas Brown shot 27-year-old Brandon Bradshaw.

Deputy Brown was not on duty at the time.

Police say Bradshaw was taken to the hospital, where, at last check, he was in critical condition.

Brown has been placed on administrative leave, which is department policy.

Police say they do not know what led up to the shooting.
