Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. This action is packing a lot of lightning and heavy rainfall. Flash flooding is possible through Wednesday.
Today will be the calm after the storms. The front has pushed through so expect much quieter conditions today. There is a slight chance of rain, mainly for the south, but most of us stay with partly sunny skies. Our highs today will settle in the low to mid 80s. Tomorrow is much of the same, but slightly warmer.
Later on in the week is when our next rain maker approaches the Bluegrass state. Friday will feature a few storms to deal with during Friday Night Football. That will take us into Saturday where we are going to have our best chance at storms at 60%.
Once the front rolls through on Sunday you will feel a nice taste of fall in the air.
