PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) - A man who conducted an undercover investigation that led to charges against two employees of the McCracken County Humane Society has been banned from his job at the facility.
Humane Society Board President James Shumaker told The Paducah Sun (http://bit.ly/T71yp5 ) that the board would likely decide the fate of whistleblower Jeremiah Robertson by Monday.
Robertson gave video and audio recordings to the sheriff's department that helped detectives investigate euthanasia specialist Beau Anderson and office manager DaLena Hall. Hall was found guilty of 10 counts of euthanizing an animal without a proper license. Anderson is currently serving a 60-day sentence after pleading guilty to nine counts of animal cruelty.
Robertson's disciplinary action on Friday stemmed from an incident earlier in the week when Robertson took issue with euthanizing a dog.
