Whitley County man found after Golden Alert

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - Whitley County man Matthew Eric Stephens has been found after a Golden Alert was issued Tuesday afternoon.

Stephens, 25, was last scene Monday afternoon at 6 p.m. in the woods behind his residence on Briar Creek Road in Williamsburg. He is described as a 5'8", white male with a stocky build. Police say he has brown hair, brown and hazel eyes with his ears pierced.

Police report that he was last scene wearing blue jeans and a camouflage jacket. Stephens is also wearing glasses.

Stephens may by disoriented and forgetful.

Police are asking for anyone regarding this person to call Whitley County 911 at 606-549-6017.
