Lexington widow launches petition opposing killer's parole

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The widow of a Lexington police officer is using the internet, to keep her husband's killer behind bars.

Glenn Doneghy is serving a 20-year sentence for manslaughter in the death of Lexington police officer Bryan Durman. Doneghy is eligible for parole in April.

According to the Commonwealth's Attorney Ray Larson, Brandy Durman plans to create an online petition for people opposing Doneghy's early release.

His parole hearing is set for February 24th.
