The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Friday. 1"-4" will be felt for most through Saturday.
A mix of sun and clouds is expected on Sunday. Temperatures will climb up to around 80 for highs in many areas. Southern Kentucky has a solid chance of touching the mid 80s.
A pretty strong cold front will shake the pattern up completely for several days. Storms will be the first thing that kicks in with the front. Some of these have the chance to be strong or even severe.
A very cold airmass follows this front into Kentucky. Daytime highs fall from around 80 on Sunday to the mid 40s on Tuesday. That's an intense swing! Even with a transitional season frontal boundary. The cold that digs in will likely spark some snow across Kentucky. Some of the data even suggests we'll get accumulation.
The cold air will hang around early on Wednesday morning too. This time with no snow... but a great possibility of a frost!
