Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
WINCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - A Clark County woman accused of killing her daughter and granddaughter pleaded guilty to two counts of murder in court Thursday.
In May of 2012, police say Lillie Stanton, 49, killed her daughter, Danel Korrey Stanton, 23, and 22-month-old granddaughter Kaydence.
Investigators claim Stanton was worried about the child's father getting custody.
By pleading guilty, Stanton avoids the death penalty. Stanton faces a recommended sentence of life in prison with no chance of parole.
Sentencing is scheduled for February 20th.
