Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. This action is packing a lot of lightning and heavy rainfall. Flash flooding is possible through Wednesday.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Good Saturday evening!
Dry air has nearly killed snow chances for Saturday evening, though a wintry mix will still push into central Kentucky overnight.
Warmer temperatures at the surface kept the earlier rounds of snow from reaching the surface. Any precip that moves in tonight will likely start out as showers, before making the transition to a wintry mix by morning.
Some light accumulations are not out of the question, but it shouldn't pose any major impact.
Temperatures Saturday night into Sunday morning will be in the upper teens to low twenties, with wind making it feel even colder.
