Winter storm is winding down

The winter storm that blasted the bluegrass state earlier today is moving out. Patchy freezing drizzle and snow flurries will continue through the rest of the afternoon and into the evening.

Temps remain well below freezing and that will keep slick spots on area roads.

Clouds will slowly clear out overnight as temps drop into the upper teens and low 20s. That clearing will set us up for a sunny, but cold Saturday across all of central and eastern Kentucky.
