FALMOUTH, Ky. (WKYT) - Due to the winter storm that went through the area this morning, the city of Falmouth and parts of Pendleton County are without power.

The major feeder line from Kentucky Utilities that supplies Falmouth’s power has a broken pole and downed lines. The estimated time of repair is 5:30 p.m. This outage affects nearly the entire city.

Bluegrass Energy also has several pockets of outages in the southern part of the county as well.

Pendleton County High School located just north of Falmouth, off US Highway 27, has been opened as a warming shelter for residents affected by this power outage.
