Winter weather is back in the forecast!

After having reports of sleet, snow and freezing rain we will have another shot at the same thing today. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from this afternoon through Wednesday morning for the Bluegrass area and along I-64. Much like what we saw yesterday with more sleet reports than anything, that is what is likely today with some rain and snow mixed in. Temperatures through the afternoon will likely stay just above freezing for most locations. This chance at rain/snow/sleet will be possible through Wednesday morning before exiting the region by midday tomorrow. Highs slowly rise with dry conditions the rest of the week and into part of the weekend.
