Winter weather moves out and now on to a nice weekend!

Old man winter stayed up late last night into early this morning, but the bulk of it has moved out of the region. It left us with a light coating of ice, but mainly off the major roadways. Travel will not be a big issue around the Bluegrass and southbound. North of I-64 could have a few slick spots on overpasses and bridges, so travel slowly. Everything appears much better during the late morning and afternoon hours with dry conditions and highs in the 40s and 50s.

90% of us stay dry during this weekend. Saturday morning we could see an isolated shower or two for our eastern zones, but everyone is clear during the afternoon with highs in the lower to mid 40s. No threat of any unsettled weather for Sunday with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s under a mostly sunny sky.
