Wintry mix develops behind a cold front

Posted: Mon 5:27 PM, Dec 10, 2012

The wintry mix behind the cold front will move to the east tonight with little to no accumulation due to the wet and warm ground. Temperatures overnight will settle into the upper 20s. Roads may be slick early morning so watch for black ice during your commute.

We'll stay in the 30s through the day Tuesday as skies gradually clear. Tuesday night will be the coldest we've had in a while as lows drop to 23 with a few spots in the upper teens.

A quick warm up is also in the forecast as high pressure keeps it dry. By Thursday expect highs back into the 50s. We could see more showers for the weekend.
