Woman accused of buying beer for teens in deadly Boyle Co. crash

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) A Lincoln County woman now faces charges in connection to a crash that killed a Boyle County teenager.

Alison Nicole Grigsby, 40, is charged with five counts of unlawful transaction with a minor. According to court records, Grigsby bought two 12 packs of Bud Light for an 18-year-old on June 29. Police say Grigsby knew the young man was underage when she bought the alcohol. Grigsby allegedly went back to a residence on Perryville Road where the young people drank the alcohol. Police say, later that day, Jacob Smith, 18, was behind the wheel of a car with four others that crashed into a tree. Smith and three others were hurt. Emily Snow was killed.

Grigsby is in the Boyle County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
