LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman is in jail after she admitted to stealing items used to make meth.
WKYT tracked down the arrest citation for Melissa Miller, 32.
Lexington police say she was seen leaving Walmart with a pack of lithium batteries.
After confronted by police and giving consent to search her car, court documents show police found two boxes of Aleve-D, which contains pseudoephedrine.
When used together, police say both the batteries and the Aleve-D are precursors for making meth.
Police say Miller admitted to stealing the items with intent to make meth.
Miller is charged with manufacturing meth and shoplifting.
