Woman arrested in overnight Lexington armed robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have arrested a woman who they say was responsible for an armed robbery.

Lexington police say a man called them early Wednesday morning to say he had been robbed at knife-point by two women on North Broadway.

The victim was able to give police a description of their get-away car.

Police quickly caught up with that car on Loudon Avenue.

Inside, court documents show police found the victim's cell phone and two knives.

Police arrested Karen Hernandez, 19, and charged her with robbery.
