PARIS, Ky. (WKYT) - Ciji Jefferson is believed to be involved in a Scott County murder case from 2010. She appeared in front a judge in Bourbon County on Tuesday.
Jefferson was arrested in Florida in early February and was extradited to Kentucky for her role in the death of Sue Jones.
Jefferson is charged with complicity to commit burglary, a Class C Felony. The charge carries a penalty of 5 to 10 years in prison.
Nicholas Aaron Willinger is charged with murder, first degree robbery, and first degree burglary.
Police say he was told Jones kept a large amount of cash in her home. They say he entered the home expecting it to be empty, but Jones was home. Police say he beat the 68-year-old to death.
Willinger will be back in court on April 2 for an arraignment hearing.
Jefferson pleaded not guilty. Her next appearance is April 8.
